1. Who we are

My Wine Shelf is a product of Nisshagen Advisory AB (Org.nr 559526-6742), a company registered in Stockholm, Sweden. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to Nisshagen Advisory AB. Questions about these terms: hello@mywineshelf.com.

2. What this site is

The site has three parts. A catalogue of 190,435 wines from 32,930 producers across 351 regions in 60 countries, searchable by wine or by producer and browsable by region and by style. A set of serving pages giving the temperature range in degrees Celsius, the decanting time and the glass for each of the four styles. And your cellar, a page that shows the bottles and tasting notes recorded against your account in the My Wine Shelf app.

The catalogue is the wine part of a larger trade reference. LWIN holds 211,354 rows covering spirits, cider and beer as well; this site queries only the 190,435 that are wine or fortified wine, because a search for a producer should not answer with a single malt.

The app is still being built and is not on the App Store. Nothing on this site is an offer, a commitment to release anything, or a guarantee of any feature, date or price. Descriptions of intended functionality may change or be abandoned.

3. Age requirement

This site concerns wine and is intended for adults who are of legal drinking age in their country of residence. By using the site, you confirm that you meet that requirement. We do not sell alcohol, and nothing here encourages anyone to drink: the site is about identifying a bottle, keeping a record of it and serving it at the right temperature.

4. Your account and your content

Signing in is optional. Only the cellar page needs an account, and the rest of the site is open to anyone.

The account is the ShelfHub account, shared across the “my X shelf” apps, so one login works for all of them. Your wine records are not shared with those apps; only the login is common. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what is done through your account.

The bottles, vintages, tasting notes and dates recorded against your account are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them only to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy. We do not publish them, and they are not visible to other users.

This site reads that record and does not change it. Everything that writes to your shelf happens in the app.

You may have your account and its records deleted at any time by writing to hello@mywineshelf.com, and the deletion page sets out what goes. Deletion is permanent. Section 8 of the Privacy Policy explains how deletion works when the login is shared with another app, and what the Delete account button in the account panel does today.

5. The catalogue and its licence

The catalogue is the LWIN database published by Liv-ex Ltd, from the August 2026 release, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. Every page of this site carries the credit that licence requires.

Your rights in that data come from Liv-ex's licence, not from us. CC BY 4.0 lets anyone copy, redistribute and build on the data, including commercially, as long as they give attribution. We are one licensee among many and we do not sit between you and that licence. Nothing in these terms restricts what CC BY 4.0 permits you to do with LWIN data you obtain from Liv-ex.

The catalogue is provided as-is and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Many rows carry only some of the fields, and the site shows what a row holds rather than filling the gaps with a guess. Check anything that matters against the label in front of you.

My Wine Shelf is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Liv-ex, or to any producer, estate or brand named in the catalogue. Names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used here for identification.

6. The gear links, and what is not for sale

Nothing on this site is for sale by us. There is no basket and no checkout. No page shows a price, and the catalogue has no price field to show: LWIN identifies bottles, it does not value them.

Some pages carry links to wine accessories on Amazon.se: glasses, decanters, openers and the like, never wine or any other alcohol. The links are part of the Amazon Associates programme. If you buy something through one, Amazon pays us a commission. The price you pay does not change. Every such link is marked Ad, and the gear page carries the full disclosure.

The rule that remains: no wine is for sale here, no link leads to wine, and no bottle in the catalogue carries a buy link or a price. Sweden is our home market, alcohol advertising is restricted here and in most of the countries this site reaches, and the links stop at accessories partly for that reason. Version 2.0 of these terms said there was no affiliate arrangement and no commission on anything. That was true when it was written, it stopped being true when the gear links went live, and this section changed in the same release, as the old wording promised it would. The Privacy Policy changed with it.

7. What you may not do

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, its database or another user's account
• Use automated tools to scrape, overload or probe the site in a way that degrades it for other readers. This is a limit on what you do to our service, not a claim over the LWIN data: that data is published by Liv-ex under CC BY 4.0 and you can obtain it from the source.
• Copy or reproduce the design, code, editorial text or branding of this site without written permission
• Present our serving guidance as though it came from someone else, or attribute it to a source we did not use

8. Intellectual property

This site's design, code, copy and branding, and the wording of the serving guidance, are owned by Nisshagen Advisory AB. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from them without written permission. This does not affect your ownership of what you record on your own shelf, and it does not extend to the LWIN catalogue described in section 5, which carries its own licence.

The temperatures, decanting times and glassware in the serving pages are facts and measurements, and facts are nobody's property. The sentences around them are ours.

9. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site. Where it is practical, we will give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what the site does. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The catalogue pages are cached and can be up to 24 hours behind the database.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information on it, including catalogue data and the figures in the serving pages, is accurate, complete or current. Any statement about a future feature is a statement of present intention only.

The serving pages describe a style, never a particular bottle. A range in degrees Celsius for red wine is the span the published guides agree on, not a reading we have taken from the wine in your hand. Producers, vintages and conditions differ, and what you pour is your judgement.

Nothing on this site is health, legal or financial advice. Alcohol carries health risks, and its sale, advertising and consumption are regulated differently in every country; complying with the law where you live is your responsibility. Prices, scores and investment value are outside what this site does.

Keep your own record of anything you would be upset to lose. We take reasonable care with your data and we do not guarantee against data loss.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Swedish law, Nisshagen Advisory AB is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, from any reliance on catalogue data, on what the cellar page shows, or on the serving guidance, or from any statement about an unreleased app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in them affects the mandatory rights of a consumer under Swedish law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will publish the updated version here and update the version number and effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes will be resolved in Swedish courts. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
